Generally I prefer my own en-suite but plenty of facilities and well maintained. Cosy place to stay and good value for money. Staff were very friendly - I would stay here again.

Rooms and bathrooms were really clean. Had no problems finding an empty bathroom when needed. Breakfast was good and served quickly by polite and helpful staff.

Excellent ! Normally pay through the nose to stay on the south coast. But this was excellent value at £38 for single person in double room with TV, sink and wifi. Shared bathroom was spotless as was everything else. Staff were really nice. I will try to book this place every time I'm in the area.

Can't keep away Having stayed here on a number of occasions I was not disappointed! Decided on not having an en-suite this time round and can safely say I didn't miss having one! The facilities in the shared areas were very good (just a loose tap in the shower!) and very clean. My room was lovely and quite quaint. Breakfast as always was excellent and very quickly delivered after placing my order. Would highly recommend for personal or work stays, now having done both! You're 10 minutes away from central Southampton in one direction and in the other 10 minutes away from the New Forest. Thank you again for yet another lovely stay!!

All I needed I needed a simple overnight B&B and that's what I got - a simple room though with TV and good en suite shower room and a welcome breakfast. To say "no frills" sounds derogatory but I don't mean it that way - they keep it simple but do it well here! The guest kitchen with tea and coffee making facilities and a microwave was a great idea.

Ideal for the rail traveller less than 5 mins from Totton station with an hourly train service along the South Coast or to London. I would certainly stay here again if visiting the area. Room decor a little minimalist but otherwise clean and comfortable. A useful option is the guest kitchen with microwave, fridge and tea making facilities

A nice Guest House which was Clean & Tidy, with all the required amenities. The host was very welcoming, and the breakfast was nice and plentiful. A 5 min walk from Totton Train Station which is very convenient for Southampton & The New Forest. A decent amount of off street parking and a local shop are also very useful. Would definitely recommend for short stays.

Very helpful and friendly reception. The facilities are beautifully clean with plenty of well equipped bathrooms. Guests are trusted to come and go at their leisure without monitoring. Food was freshly cooked to order and served quickly. Brimar takes pride in its service and it shows. Thanks

Clean and comfortable. I had a very quiet couple of nights here and it was just what I wanted. Food was good and the service friendly. It was good to be able to prepare my own food. I will definitely stay again.
