Eling Tide Mill is a short walk from the guest house and situated at the head of Southampton Water, where you can experience seeing tidal power milling flour on a daily basis. Just over the road from the Mill is the Totton & Eling Heritage Centre, which shows the history of the area from Bronze Age days to the present day. You can even sit in an air raid shelter and experience the sound of bombs dropping all around you.
