We are a local bed and breakfast guesthouse with 21 newly refurnished rooms and self-catering facilities. We provide clean, safe, economical accommodation and first class cooked breakfasts. We have friendly, trained staff to look after all our guests. Check in is from 12:00 to 19:00 hours and at other times by special arrangement. Guests are asked to vacate their rooms before 11:00 hours on their day of departure.
Several of our rooms are suitable for families and with some rooms it is possible to link them together with a kitchen and bathroom to form a private area for large families or groups of contractors. We have another area with two large linked rooms capable of accommodating a family of four or five.
We often have business guests and contractor guests working on projects in the local area. We are able to offer reduced long-term rates for individual business guests and contractors as well as for companies. Companies wishing to open a monthly credit account please email accounts@brimar-guesthouse.co.uk or telephone to request a credit facility application form. VAT invoices are issued.
Our special rates are subject to room availability and individual guests’ desire for en-suite rooms or not.
The length of occupancy and terms of payment affect the lowest rate levels.
We have the lowest comparable rates for bed and breakfast accommodation in the Totton area and we are now able to accept Mastercard, Visa and Maestro cards.
Cheques are accepted to the amount authorised on individual cheque guarantee cards.
We have a resident manager who will help guests with anything they need and with his knowledge about local facilities and restaurants.
The area is well provided with food suppliers and there are several good local pubs only a short walk away.
The Brimar Guest House has been providing bed and breakfast accommodation for more than 15 years with 11 rooms. During the spring of 2003, the whole building was completely refurbished and extended to provide 21 rooms with more shower rooms and en-suites and to comply with all the latest safety regulations. All the furniture and soft furnishings were replaced with new fire approved materials. A new fire control and alarm system was installed and the local authority fire service issued a new upgraded fire certificate.
The Brimar Guest House is owned and operated by Steadhurst Ltd, a British registered company which is VAT registered. The company operates a formal Health and Safety policy and has an equal opportunities policy for employment. The business is insured with Lloyds Underwriters.
